Information officers from ARMM’s various line agencies participated in a workshop to draft a communication plan for the 2017-2022 ARMM Regional Development Plan (RDP) on November 13, 2017 at the region’s seat in Cotabato City.

ARMM Executive Secretary Laisa Alamia said the RDP and development efforts of the regional government should be communicated to the people.

The communications planning workshop is organized by the Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO). It invited Ms. Nastasia Tysmans of the World Bank to share her knowledge on communication strategy and on core messages preparation.

“Some people still have negative impressions about the ARMM, and we need to show them that the ARMM (government) really works,” RPDO Baintan Ampatuan said.
